>> All hostel inmates are to strictly follow the rules and regulations of the hostel. This list is not an
exclusive list of instructions. Students are to follow all the rules and regulations given by warden
and the office of MGOCSM from time to time.
>> Admission is for one year. If you want to continue next year, you have to pay the fee and take readmission.
>> STUDENTS SHOULD STRICTLY ENTER THE HOSTEL PREMISES BEFORE 8:30 PM. Any
urgent requirement if any should be informed to warden or at office.
>> Students are not allowed to visit other rooms except for urgent requirement
>> Students are strictly asked to follow the hostel time schedule.
>> During study time students are not allowed to close the door of the room. (8:30 PM -9:30 PM)
>> IF STUDENTS ARE TO TAKE LEAVE, PRIOR PERMISSION OF THE WARDEN IS
COMPULSORY. It is mandatory for each student to fill the leave register kept at the office
before leaving the hostel campus.
>> Adhere strictly to the time allowed for meals in the Mess. Be careful not to waste food. FOOD
PARCELS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED IN THE ROOMS. If food is ordered from outside, it
should be eaten in the dining hall
>> The movement register and lunch register should be filled as per student’s requirement. Students
who want mid-day meal in Hostel Mess should enter their names in the respective register before
8.30 AM.
>> Using electrical appliances are strictly prohibited. Students must take prior permission if they
require using the same.
>> No student is allowed to change the rooms on their own wish, prior permission from the office is
compulsory.
>> No students are allowed to move out of the rooms after 10:00 PM. Use of mobile phone is strictly
prohibited outside the room after 10:00 PM.
>> Orthodox students are expected to attend Sunday service if they are in the hostel. And those were
expected to do daily prayers at the chapel from 7:00 PM -7:30 PM.
>> Keep the room neat and clean. Hygiene of the surroundings is important for our health. Rooms
with attached bathroom facilities shall be maintained separately by the students of the respective
rooms.
>> If any grievances are be shared can be given in written format to the warden from
7:30 pm to 8:30 pm at office
>> There will be daily inspection & Strict action will be taken if rooms are dirty.
>> Use Newspapers for reading only in duly allotted Readers Corner.
>> Use the washing machine correctly. Maintain the register. Use it in a way that doesn't bother
other students.
>> If there are no people in the room, turn off the light and fan.
>> Body building equipment’s are not allowed after 8.30 pm.
>> Photo and identity proof must be provided at the time of room booking.
>> Hostel and Mess Fees must be paid before 5th of every month.
